Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault

This is an action platformer in which a bobcat-like creature (Ratchet) and his robotic sidekick (Clank) combat alien forces across the universe. As players traverse through colorful levels, they use an assortment of “cartoony” weapons (e.g., sonic waves, oversized laser blasters and rocket launchers) to defeat robots, giant monsters, and bug-like creatures; enemies generally disappear amid colorful bursts of light and/or scattered nuts and bolts. One weapon (i.e., the Sonic Erupter) emits green clouds/globs and loud belching sounds. During the course of the game, comical remarks can be heard in the dialogue (e.g., “You wrote some really disturbing fan fiction,” “All those arrests and scandals, and I stood by you. The protopets, the malfunctioning crotchetizers . . .”).
